Dates for 2018.1 semester altered

Dear international students and partners:

By decision of the Superior Council for Teaching, Research and Extension Activities (CONSEPE - UFPB), the calendar for the next two semesters (2018.1 and 2018.2) has been altered. In this moment, the dates of the said academic semesters are the following:

2018.1 Semester
09/07 - semester beginning
05/11 - semester end (classes)
06 to 12 November - final exams period (for students that both need and meet the requirements).

2018.2 Semester
22/11 - semester beginning
15/12 - break due to faculty vacation
31/01 - semester resumes
10/05 - semester end (classes)
13 to 17 May - final exams period (for students that both need and meet the requirements).

The International Office is aware that there may be implications for the students expected to come for a mobility period at UFPB, who may have already booked their flights to João Pessoa; we will work to minimize such effects.
