The RIEV-Observatory Project is a strategic research effort within the scope of the Interdisciplinary Network for Studies on Violence (RIEV), with the purpose of creating mechanisms for monitoring, dissemination and mobilization with the participation of society in general. The Project addresses dimensions of the reality regarding school violence and its impact on the teaching-learning process in the public school system in Paraíba, which here aims to evaluate the problems or dysfunctions existing in the implementation of the National Education Plan (PNE 2014-2024) and the 2030 Agenda in national and local territory. The methodological approach starts from the systematization of indicators in an online public consultation platform based on the integration of multiple official databases, made available by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the Ministry of Health (MS) and the National Institute of Studies and Educational Research Anísio Teixeira (INEP). The RIEV-Observatory Project seeks to contribute directly to seven of the 17 sustainable development goals, namely: good health and well-being, quality education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, reduced inequalities, peace, justice and effective institutions and partnerships and means of implementation.
