Travessias, linked to the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB), is a Research/Activist Group that seeks to promote Anti-Racist Education and foster interdisciplinarity, encouraging collaboration between researchers and students from different areas in the fight for racial equity in education Brazilian. The Group regularly organizes seminars, conversation circles and study groups, in addition to integrating interinstitutional research projects, mobilizing a research agenda referenced by the struggles of the Black Movement.
Furthermore, Travessias works with academic and civil society partnerships, expanding the social/political impact of its teaching, research and extension activities.
